La dodicesima notte (o quello che volete)
The young Florentine Giovanni Ortoleva, special mention in the “Directors Under 30” competition of the Venice Biennale 2018, signs the direction of "The Twelfth Night", considered by many critics to be Shakespeare's best comedy.
On the shores of Illyria, love spreads in an unstoppable way. Duke Orsino is in love with Olivia, a rich countess who refuses to see her to honor the memory of her missing brother. When Viola arrives in the village, a young shipwrecked young woman who takes service from the duke disguising herself as a man, the girl falls madly in love with Orsino and makes Countess Olivia fall in love with herself, creating an unsolvable triangle. “Time, it's you who must undo this tangle”, Viola is desperate when she realizes the situation; and while the courtiers let off steam with atrocious jokes at the expense of the waiter Malvolio, time studies a solution.
